What a great way to spend an evening! Seeing Lisbon from the water offers a new vantage point, and it’s magical at sunset. Rui is a very kind and knowledgeable host, and I felt right at home on his sailboat!

Had a fabulous time on Rui's boat today! The water and the sunset are absolutely beautiful, Rui was fun and knowledgeable and the Porto wine was delicious. The entire experience was very serene and relaxing.

Please try the experience out.. you will not regret. Rui is an awesome host and he will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable

Captain Rui is a king of the Portuguese waters. A gentleman, he was thoughtful on any requests, he was patient and knows the Lisboeta riverside better than so many others. He’s kind, understanding, and cannot stress enough how much of a gentleman he was to my whole family who was traveling. I recommend him highly and hope you have the pleasure of booking his experience.

My girlfriend and I went on an afternoon cruise with Rui, and it was the best thing we've done in Lisbon. Rui is the perfect host and a fascinating person. We talked about sailing, history, geography, economics, and Java vs Python (for computer nerds). Strongly recommended.

This experience was awesome. The day was cloudy so no sunset to watch and we didn't even care. The host is a tremendous story telling. He knows a lot of facts and history which made this experience a must. We had a lot of communication prior the trip due to arriving issues and he was most kind and understanding. Do not hesitate, just book.

Rui is a wonderful host who enjoyed telling us stories and discussing the history and culture of Portugal. His boat is beautiful and the trip felt very personal. There were 8 of us on board with cushions around the boat to enjoy the experience. Our son even helped to hoist a sail. The sunset and views of Lisbon are just outstanding.

We booked Rui’s cruise for our group of 6, celebrating our friends birthday and it was absolutely the most beautiful evening. The boat is really nice and Rui is so friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Lisbon and Portugal’s history. We made friends with other people on the tour and the whole evening had a very intimate and magical feel about it. Can’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic boat tour! Rui was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We were introduced to Lisbon’s sites from the waterfront while learning a little about sailing as well!

We went with some friends and there were a couple other people that joined us. It was my first time on a sail boat and Rui was a great guy and awesome captain for us to experience this trip. He let us be a part of the sailing if we wanted and had great knowledge and stories. We also went to Rui s restaurant the next morning for breakfast and it was very good, he also gave us top notch recommendations for other restaurants for lunch and dinner. An awesome experience and would do it again !

Très belle expérience. Récits captivants de Rui, même quand c’est la 2e fois qu’on fait le tour en bateau avec lui. Les enfants ont apprécié de pouvoir l’aider sur le bateau avec les cordes. Magnifiques vues sur Lisbonne. Nous avons eu la chance de naviguer avec les 2 voiles levées, dans de bonnes conditions météo.

This was a great experience and such a lovely way to celebrate being on holiday in a memorable way. The port was a great touch and felt more authentic than beer or wine. Rui was such a natural storyteller and conversationalist. Having limited numbers on the boat was good.

Rui’s boat trip was perfection! The timing was perfect to see the sunset, we were able to bring our own wine and cheese (although he also gave us delicious port wine), and the boat was very comfortable! I would highly recommend going on this experience.

Es war ein sehr schöner Segeltörn mit einem Glas Portwein für jeden :) Wir haben es genossen und es gab auch Decken, da es wirklich kalt wird.

A great way to see Lisbon! Recommend the evening as Seeing Lisbon lit up was beautiful. You can join in on the group fun or have some private time at the front of the boat, which was fabulous and very comfortable.

It was great experience! Rui was sharing with us so many interesting stories and showing us beautiful places. He is so passionate about sailing so you want to stay with him and listen to him all the time. Great people, wine and beautiful sunset.

Rui was a fantastic host, we were running late due to traffic and issues with taxis, but Rui held off the launch of the yacht to ensure we were aboard. The tour itself was excellent and Rui provides a very personal tour of the bay and he is very knowledgeable in his trade. I would definitely recommend going on this experience!

Rui was so knowledgeable about the local area and it’s history. He was so incredibly inviting and welcoming to the boat. We thoroughly enjoyed the sail around Lisbon and would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect afternoon! Rui is a natural story teller with a passion for sailing, maritime history, and Lisbon. He answered all of our questions about the sails and the workings of the boat at a level we could understand and kept it fun. You can help with the lines and at the helm if you would like. Rui was able to keep even our 13 year old son engaged for the duration of the two hour trip. If you just want to disappear to the front of the boat that is an option too. Highly recommend!

This experience was wonderful! Rui is a fantastic storyteller and has so much incredible knowledge to share. I love that this sailing adventure starts a little bit later than the rest, and it felt like we had the water to ourselves towards the end. It was great that it was much less crowded, and that the sail was a perfect way to wind down the day.

Fantastic experience! Rui gave helpful instructions on where to meet and we set sail just after 7pm. His boat is beautiful and has lots of cushions to sit near the front for the best views. He lets you help with some of the sailing tasks if you want, which was really fun. Lovely conversation among our entire group and gorgeous sunset. I recommend 100%

This experience was a really highlight of my short trip to Lisbon. If you visit Lisbon this is a must. Rui and his crew were very nice and careful and gave me a real sense of security. Lisbon seen from the river is incredible.

The stories, atmosphere and experience created by Rui and Rafael were magical and we had the best time with them.
